The American Hospital Association began celebrating National Hospital Week more than 90 years ago to “celebrate the history, technology and dedicated professionals” in hospitals. Cullman Regional celebrated National Hospital Week last week with plenty of activities to say “thank you” to its employees, physicians and volunteers.

The week kicked off with Cullman Regional’s Tin Roof Coffee Shop cart visiting every area of the hospital to make sure employees got their Monday off to a great start. Other activities during the week included an employee picnic on the patio, Frios popsicles, ice cream sundaes and all employees received Cullman Regional sunglasses and tote bags. Employees also had the chance to vote on fun employee awards that were awarded to team members throughout Hospital Week. All of these activities were designed to be fun and festive and to acknowledge the significant investment of time and talent Cullman Regional team members bring to patients and their loved ones.
