Cullman Regional is partnering with Jacksonville State University (JSU) in order to offer a free or low cost educational advancement opportunity for Associate Level Registered Nurses and Respiratory Therapists that are employees of Cullman Regional.
“We are consistently looking for opportunities to help our employees advanced their education and knowledge which ultimately leads to better care for our patients,” Cullman Regional Chief Executive Officer James Clements said. “This partnership with JSU allows us to provide our employees with access to a quality program in a convenient online format.”
The partnership allows Cullman Regional Associate level nurses and respiratory therapists access to earn a Bachelor’s degree online with a reduced tuition. This savings combined with Cullman Regional’s tuition reimbursement benefit of $4,500/year for two years, the partnership allows Cullman Regional staff who are seeking to advance their education the opportunity to do it for free or at a very low cost.
“The primary goal is to increase the knowledge and education level of Cullman Regional Nurses and Respiratory Therapists in order to continuously improve the quality of care provided to the patients we serve,” Clements said.
