Cullman Regional is proud to announce that Hospice of Cullman County, Inc. recently held its annual MEGA CASH Draw Down, which serves as a fundraiser benefiting indigent patient care. The event raised more than $29,000 for Hospice of Cullman County, Inc.

From an excellent meal provided by Morrison’s Catering to auction items including homemade cakes and beach get-a-ways, this year’s event was filled with fun and excitement. The final three ticket holders, James Laminack, Darlene Norris and Wendell Copeland decided to split the $10,000 cash prize prior to the final ticket drawing which donated $1,500 back to Hospice of Cullman County. Other winners included Melba Alexander who won the $500 Ticket Drawing and Vedeara Sizemore who won the $1,000 ticket drawing.

“We had a great turnout for the event,” Hospice of Cullman County, Inc. Board Event Chair, Randy Weathersby said. “I’m thankful for the generosity and support of the volunteers and community members who make this such a great event each year.”
