American Heart Association – Get With The Guidelines
Cullman Regional received the 2023 Get With The Guidelines – Heart Failure GOLD PLUS award with Honor Roll along with the Target: Type 2 Diabetes Honor Roll. These awards recognize Cullman Regional for implementing quality improvement measures that help ensure cardiovascular patients receive the most appropriate treatment according to nationally recognized, research-based guidelines.
Society of Cardiovascular Patient Care Chest Pain Accreditation
Cullman Regional receives full Chest Pain Center Accreditation from the Society of Cardiovascular Patient Care (SCPC) on July 6, 2016. This accreditation symbolizes Cullman Regional’s commitment to the community to provide the most effective response treatment and care when it comes to chest pain.
U.S. News & World Report Names Cullman Regional among Highest Performing in Heart Failure
Cullman Regional has been recognized as a High-Performing Hospital in Heart Failure 2016-17 by U.S. News & World Report. The U.S. News Best Hospitals rankings, now in their 27th year, help guide patients to hospitals that deliver outstanding care across 25 specialties, procedures and conditions. The Best Hospitals methodologies include objective measures such as patient survival, the number of times a given procedure is performed, infection rates, adequacy of nurse staffing and more.
Top Performer on Key Quality Measures® 2014
Cullman Regional was recognized as a 2014 Top Performer on Key Quality Measures® by The Joint Commission, the leading accreditor of health care organizations in the United States. The Top Performer program recognizes hospitals for improving performance on evidence-based interventions that increase the chances of healthy outcomes for patients with certain conditions. The recognition came as part of The Joint Commission’s 2015 annual report “America’s Hospitals: Improving Quality and Safety,” for the following areas: Heart Attack, Heart Failure, Pneumonia, Surgical Care, VTE (venous thromboembolism) and Stroke.

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama has designated CRMC as a Tier 1 hospital for our commitment to quality, affordable healthcare. The program measures and ranks hospitals on the criteria of quality, patient experience and cost.
American Joint Replacement Registry (AJRR) Participant
The AJRR serves as a central clearing house for data on total joint replacement procedures performed at participating sites nationwide. Collected data helps identify implants that are performing better or poorer than others and helps match patient procedures and devices to ensure that every patient is receiving the best care possible.
