Cullman Regional Welcomes Urologist Matthew Young, MD to Medical Group

Cullman, Ala. — Cullman Regional Medical Group is pleased to welcome board-certified urologist Matthew Young, MD, to our team. Dr. Young obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, followed by his urology residency and general surgery internship at Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.

Dr. Young is a recognized expert in robotic surgery. He was named a Surgeon of Excellence at a Center of Excellence in Robotic Surgery at Baptist Health Paducah by the Surgical Review Corporation in 2018. He also received the Thomas Alexander Kirkland Jr Excellence Award in the Urology Department at the Medical University of South Carolina for two consecutive years (2011-2012, 2012-2013).
