Dr. Peinhardt is a part of the clinical team that visits Cullman Regional Hospice patients in their homes. A native of Cullman, Dr. Peinhardt is board-certified in Internal Medicine. He began his private practice with Cullman Internal Medicine in 1977 and has held numerous leadership roles during his tenure, including: President, North Alabama Physician's Group LLC; President, Physician's Resource Network — MSO; President, Cullman Internal Medicine; Chief of Staff, Cullman Regional Medical Center; State Board Member, American College of Physicians; State Board Member & Secretary, Alabama Society of Internal Medicine; Chairman of local Board of Censors, Medical Association Systems of Alabama; Medical Director, Cullman Regional Home Health; Medical Director, Cullman Regional Cardiopulmonary Heart Failure Program; Medical Director, Cullman Regional CHF Program; 20-year member of American Heart Association Board; Primary Care Advisory Committee, UAB. Dr. Peinhardt is active in local, state and international United Methodist Church, has served as Medical Director of two international peace camps, has participated in multiple mission service trips to South American, is active in family development of Peinhardt Living History Farm as well as active in various conservation environmental and forestry efforts. Dr. Peinhardt retired from private practice in 2016, but is excited to continue his care of patients through Cullman Regional's Hospice & Home Care.
