Cullman Regional’s Community Outreach Team is proud to offer FREE Community Wellness Screenings at local events. Free Screenings include: Blood Pressure, Body Mass Index, Bone Density, Total Cholesterol, LDL, HDL, Triglycerides and Glucose.

FREE Screening Clinics
Cullman Regional’s Community Outreach Team offers several specialty screening clinics throughout the year, these screenings are appointment based to allow time for more extensive screening tests. Screenings clinics held throughout the year include: Cardiovascular Disease Screening Clinic in February, Stroke Prevention Screening Clinic in May, Peripheral Artery Disease Prevention Clinic in September.

Industrial Screening Clinics & Wellness Programs
Cullman Regional is excited to provide FREE wellness screenings for business and industry in the communities we serve. Our on-site screening program can be scheduled around your work schedule. Our screening team includes a Wellness Coordinator, a Cardiovascular Services Nurse, Radiology Technicians, and Medical Laboratory Technicians and Phelbotomists. Each employee receives same-day results and receives one-on-one counseling from our nurse regarding any results. Cullman Regional can also provide additional health risk assessments, follow-up, educational programs and tracking for an additional fee.

Tobacco Treatment Program
To raise awareness related to the harmful effects of tobacco and to motivate employees and community members to remain free from tobacco, Cullman Regional Wellness now offers a Tobacco Treatment Program. The program consists of an information session, 6 treatment sessions to help you develop skills to successfully quit for good and follow-up sessions to help you succeed. Classes are offered at multiple times to accommodate various schedules.

Alzheimer’s Caregivers Support Group
Find meaningful advice and support from a community of your fellow caregivers. Unless otherwise noted, this group meets the third Tuesday of each month at 5:30 pm. Meetings held at Westminster Assisted Living, located at the intersection of Main Street and Olive Street (1020 Olive Street SW, Cullman).

Adult Diabetes Support Group
Anyone interested in learning more about Adult Diabetes is invited to attend this meeting. This group traditionally meets on the fourth Thursday of each month at 6 p.m. in the CRMC Community Education Center, Professional Office Building 1, 2nd Floor, Room 225.

Bosom Buddies Support Group
This group offers support to individuals and those affected by breast cancer. The group meets the third Monday of each month in Cullman Regional’s Community Education Center in POB 2.

CPAP Support Group Support
For those who are on Continuous Positive Airway Pressure Treatment. This group is open to anyone who is interested in learning more about the treatment of Apnea. CPAP meetings are held twice per year in Cullman Regional’s Community Education Center.

LapBand Support Group
Provide or receive support before or after your lap-band® procedure with others going through the same journey. This support group meets quarterly in Professional Office Building II on the 4th floor in Suite 420-B.

Look Good, Feel Better Program
This free service teaches oncology patients hands-on cosmetic techniques to help them cope with appearance-related side effects from chemotherapy and radiation treatments, provided by certified/trained cosmetologists. This is a non-medical service that does not promote any cosmetic product line. This support group, sponsored by American Cancer Society and CRMC, meets bi-yearly at the Cullman Oncology Center from 10 am until noon.

Ostomy Support Program
This program offers mutual aid and support for people who are learning to live with or care for someone with an ostomy.

The Pain Clinic is a state-of-the-art program organized to provide excellence in pain management to individuals in the North Alabama region. The clinic provides medical management through physicians trained in Anesthesiology, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. This approach, combined with input from physical and occupational therapy and nursing enables the patient to receive a thorough evaluation to determine treatment options and plan of care.

Medical Day Hospital
Cullman Regional Medical Day Hospital provides outpatient one-day medical stays. Our staff takes care of the admission and recovery of patients needing infusion therapy or endoscopy, radiology and/or cardiovascular services. All of our patient rooms feature a private bathroom, television and a small area so family can wait with the patient in their room before and after their procedure.

Cullman Regional Medical Center Nutrition & Wellness Services provides a variety of inpatient and outpatient nutrition services to the Cullman community. For hospitalized patients, CRMC Registered Dietitians fully evaluate and treat patients at risk for a variety of nutritional deficiencies. Medical Nutrition Outpatient Therapy provides patients with a variety of diseases and conditions develop a nutrition plan to aid in fighting those diseases/conditions.
