CULLMAN, Ala. – Cullman Regional’s ambulance service, Cullman Emergency Medical Services (CEMS), is the first ambulance provider in Alabama to provide blood treatment in the field. This enables paramedics to perform emergency blood transfusions on scene and give patients with significant blood loss a better chance to make it to an emergency room.
The Health Care Authority of Cullman County/ Cullman Regional Board of Directors announced today they have received Emergency Alabama Certificate of Need (CON) approval to add an additional 30 beds to the hospital including 13 additional critical care beds.
Cullman Regional welcomes Cardiologist Sampath Singireddy, MD, to the Cullman Regional Medical Group. Dr. Singireddy earned his medical degree from NTR University and completed his post-doctoral training in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics with a Specialty in Cardiology at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center.
